Privacy Policy
Last updated October 10, 2026. This policy explains what DropVio collects, why, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
Account information: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and password when you create a DropVio account.
Store information: the items, photos, prices, pickup details, and drop schedules you publish on your store.
Customer information: the names, contact details, and order history of people who buy from your store. You own this data. We process it on your behalf.
Payment information: card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. DropVio never sees or stores full card numbers.
Usage information: pages visited, features used, and device details that help us improve the platform.
2. How we use it
To run your store: processing orders, sending drop alerts and order updates by email and text, and powering your customer records.
To operate the platform: billing, support, security, and preventing fraud or abuse.
To improve DropVio: understanding which features matter so we can build better ones. We never sell personal information to anyone.
3. Text messaging
Customers who join a drop list or place an order may receive texts about that store: drop alerts, waitlist offers, and order updates. Every message includes a way to opt out, and opting out stops further marketing texts immediately.
Message and data rates may apply. Merchants are responsible for collecting customer consent before sending marketing texts, and DropVio provides the tools to record and honor that consent.
4. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that run the platform: payment processing, text and email delivery, hosting, and analytics. Each provider is bound to protect the data and use it only to serve DropVio.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of DropVio, our merchants, or their customers.
5. Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your account information at any time by contacting us. Merchants can export their customer records whenever they want.
California residents have additional rights under state law, including the right to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion. DropVio is based in San Clemente, California, and we honor these rights for everyone.
6. Data security and retention
We use industry standard safeguards to protect information in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will notify affected users if a breach occurs.
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
7. Changes and contact
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date below. Continued use of DropVio after a change means you accept the updated policy.
